we thought he was gone forever.
then last summer
he just showed up in camp
more than just a towering presence
instantly we had our senior leader
all that banging
sideways hat and all
weren't for naught
he had been through the wringer
now this was his chance
everything thrown his way had too be
caught
otherwise he'd be gone
at this late stage he brought calm
with his urgency
his sideways hat
was very welcomed back

was home!
